• Regardless of any elite or medallion status, no passengers of the basic economy fares are eligible to upgrade to a Delta Comfort+ 
• Companions having no elite or medallion status can travel in Delta Comfort+ if they are traveling with someone having the Delta Comfort+  included with the same fare. 
• No companions would be allowed to travel if the elite member is no longer traveling on a Delta Comfort+ seat for any reason.

• If the traveller doesn't have the Medallion status or elite status, then they may not be able to get a free checked bag on domestic flight reservations.
